MEET MATTHEW
Matthew “Thor”modson grew up in the land of 10,000 lakes. At the age of 15 on a family trip to Glacier National Park he discovered the world of mountains. Three years later he moved to the PNW to explore the snow-capped peaks of the Cascade and Olympic ranges. Thor’s background is mixed, guiding, mountaineering, running, and hiking in the summer, while winters as a yacht mechanic, volunteer cross country ski instructor, and renovating his houseboat. Thor brings a grounded, thoughtful presence to the alpine. His approach, marked by patience, humility, and confidence, helps create meaningful and memorable experiences for everyone on the rope.
