MEET LUKE
Born and raised in the stunning White Mountains of New Hampshire, Luke spent much of his childhood skiing, mountain biking, and rock climbing. His true passion for guiding emerged after a substantial culinary career, leading him to explore guiding opportunities in the Southeast. Luke’s journey began as a rock guide on the renowned sandstone and quartzite cliffs of West Virginia and North Carolina. During this time, he honed his technical skills and set his sights on a career in mountaineering and technical alpine climbing, moving to the North West in 2024.
Luke’s extensive experience in the hospitality industry complements his guiding philosophy, driving him to provide each guest with an exceptional experience while sharing his love for the outdoors. Known for his contagious energy, he thrives on encouraging people to push their limits, helping them achieve their goals and conquer their fears. As a dedicated team member of Northwest Alpine Guides, Luke is actively progressing through the AMGA Mountain Guide track to fulfill his dream of becoming a certified guide.
